I've been having a problem with a Fresenius 2008h machine. It's failing the POS TMP test.We replaced the bladder in the balancing chamber (both), replaced all o-rings on the valves on the balancing chamber, and checked all the valves with a ohm meter and it ohms out ok. We checked the dearation pressure and in order for it to peak at -24, we have to increase the DAC value to 213, which is really high. Both acid and bicarb pumps are new. We also replaced the CFS switch #9 and the o-rings on the dearation oriface at the bottom of the hydro-block. Finally, we replaced the o-rings on both acid and bicarb wands and the diasafe filter. And we changed the air separator and actuator board. If anyone has a solution to this problem, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Try TMP transducer #10 (below valve 25), also calibrate venous and TMP pressures.

Jermaine,

I would also try replacing both UF check valves.

I replaced cfs #10 and it still didn't work. I also replaced both uf check valves, calibrated both the venous and TMP pressure and and it's still the same error.

Since your dac value had to be increased to 213 I would replace the deareation pump head. You shouldnt have to increase dac value that high should remain at 180 then make adjustment on pump head. Then make sure flow pump pressure is correct. Then if that doesnt fix the problem I would remove lines that go to dialyzer and install a short piece of tubing on connection then run pressure holding test and see if it passes. If it passes then its the lines that go to dialyzer if it fails then the problem is internal to the machine. Good luck

Try removing the hydraulic rack from the machine and make sure every component is dry. Now put it through test. The one thing about a pos. pressure test failure is that many times you can see where the fluid is leaking out from. Put it through test several times. You just might see where its coming from. Also. Did you change the O rings in the hanson connectors on the shut door? What happened once to me was that I scored the plastic of the connector while trying to remove the old O ring.

Another thing to try... clamp the tubing coming out of V43... then pull the two wires off the pins on the Air Separator cover. Let it set for at least a few minutes and look for leaks. Good luck.

Also try to run the test bypassing a regular
shunt door(use the multimeter sensor-tube to
connect a hansons).Once I found a bypass tubing leaking.
