Anyone know why if you check for blood at dialyzer venous it's neg but at the drain it's positive? This occurred after blood leak alarm k machine. Do most people check at drain or dialyzer?

Ooops. Sorry for interruption. I had too many Renalin fumes. They were supposed to check on the red side since counter-current dialysate flow. That would have revealed positive.

We check at the drain so no errors of "which side of the dialyzer should we check" occur
