I would like any info on hyper care software by fresenius if any one is running this in there unit.

I used to use hypercare with 2008H machines and it was a nightmare. Because it is such old technology (ASCII software) and uses serial connectors, the program would freeze A LOT. We had to unplug the keyboard then plug it back in, sometimes back out of the program entirely just to fix it. This was a regular occurrance multiple times a day. Also, when mistakes were made the programmers would have to fix them on the server end. No 'superusers' to help you.
On the plus side, verifying q30 vital signs was very easy, and most assessments were just highlighted from a list, saving a lot of time. However, I'd have to advise against using this system if you have a newer alternative like MIQS or even (gulp!) Snappy. DOS and Windows based software is the industry standard for everything else these days.

Guest, sorry but I don't have anything. The company I used to work for got bought by Davita and changed to Snappy. You may want to try speaking with your local F rep to see if they have any more info for you.
