Let's see how many old timers are out there. I have an E machine which I can't get flow out of. Here is the thing. I have water coming in, into valve 41 but none coming out. I changed this valve three different times and with a known one that works...What the hell am I missing that I can't get a flow post valve 41?

Did you change the wire harness with the valve or just the valve?. Check your voltage at the distribution bd when the float switch is down. This way you can pin point your problem to hydraulics or electronics.

first off sonny, I don't know calling those of us who remember E machines old timers will get you much help. SDCT is giving you good advice, check voltage a the distribution board, you can also pull the tubing off the output of the valve and run a tube to a bucket and short the float switch (acts like the float has dropped and is calling for water). If you get no water there then very carefully turn off the water to the machine and pull the input side of the valve again run tubing to a bucket and turn water back on. If you get nothing there the incoming water pressure regulator may be bad (rare but I have seen one or two). Let us know how you make out I have to go take my laxative and soak my teeth.

also forgot to ask did you change the wiring? With ancient equipment alot of the valve wiring gets broken, crimped, or shorted, double check voltage a dis board and at clips going to valve. now i'll have my tea

No offense about the old timer remark. I myself have been doing this over 20 years. I have changed out the wiring and my next step was the float itself. I do have water going into the valve and have determined the regulator is ok. I'll let you know when I get to work what happens. Haven't used these in awhile and only for replacements when needed. Again, thank you for the help guys.
