I have a 2008k machine that is giving me a emptying and then emptying stopped error. ruled out the shunt door as the problem where Does the Signal go once it hits the motherboard?

did you make sure the 3 switches at the top of the shunt door are working propely. each one when pressed should come right back at you.

Made sure that all switches on it work propely. Even put in a good shunt door and same problem.

I had the same problem. Turned out to be a software glitch. It's VERY rare but could be the problem. Try switching out software with another machine before buying another chip though. Hope this helps.
