Access flow tests keep aborting or not running at all, I'm trying to learn as much about this as possible.... but I'm stumped, does anyone have any advice?

ACCESS FLOW is an option that Fresenius offers with 2008H machines, and soon to release the software options for 2008Ks. It simply measures the flow within the patient's access. It measures the arterial and venous flows and then comes up with an "ACCESS FLOW" value. These measurements are calculated in a manner similar to OLC. Yet, I'm still trying to learn exactly how this works. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find too many other units that use access flow.

Access flows are actually very easy on the H machines. What software version do you have? It uses the OLC data to give the access flow in ml/min.
