2008H model: Nurses informed me of one of our units removing fluids more than what they entered (RMVD) This unit passes all tests, conductivity good @ 13.8 & Temp. @ 37.0, no error messages. Does this have anything to do with UF pump, or is it just a flow problem?
There is a problem with either your UF pump or you have a fluid leak somewhere. You need to remove the machine out of service, inspect & calibrate the UF pump and check for leaks. Mostly likely it might be a broken UF pump check valve. Either way it is dangerous to put the machine back on the floor until you find a definite answer. Questions to ask are was the machine leaking any water? When was the last annual and quartely maintenance? Is this the only patient? It there was a flow problem the machine wouldnt pull enough of the patient.Best of luck and keep us informed.

I agree with dialysistech2001, you definately do not want to use this machine on anybody until you find and correct the problem. I would reccommend rebuilding and recalibrating the UF pump also.

Thanks guys, UF pump was the problem, I rebuilt the UF pump and calibrate, pump fluid volume was way more than its 24 strokes /ml.
