which board runs the blood pump module? I cant seem to figure what is up with this module that wont reset. just like i stated in the other post if i have a blood alarm and the pump stops i push reset and the pump acts like it is going to reset then alarms again. i replace the cable and tried a known good module and neither worked any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

As mentioned, have you changed the BP Module? That should help narrow it down. What exactly do you mean by reset? Pushing the reset button on the front panel? Also, are there any alarm lights on? One thing I'd also do is recalibrate the level detector.

First off, Act. bd is what controls all Modules, second: sounds like possibly in service mode, make sure in either Hardware or Treatment options "Spread limits" is "Yes". Try this stuff. you should be ok.
newestguy yes switched out BP Module same and your correct about pushing the reset button on the front panel. The only alarm is "blood pump stopped" when i push the reset button the pump goes to reset for a split second (goes to 000)and then alarms same thing. and i also recalibrated level dector it was off but still doing same things also switched out act. board and sensor bd and both cables????!!!

On a previous post I suggested you look for something burnt on a brd. Did you check the brds.? Also check the mother brd. for something shorted. Look for dust bunnies. They can cause some shorting between pins. Open up the power supply and check everything carefully. Hang tight, we'll figure it out.
Sorry this machine is giving such a problem, man. Since you've tried all the logical steps, I'd aim for something else. I've seen heparin pumps cause problems with blood pumps (dont' ask how, I don't know). I'd try unplugging the heparin pump (from the mother board end). Then maybe try unplugging the blood pressure module (from the mother board end). If that don't work, try unplugging the dearation and/or flow pump. Could be something causing electrical noise and/or interference. I've also seen level detectors cause problems with the blood pump (again, don't ask me how, but it did).
If all else fails, you could purposely accidentally push it out into oncoming traffic?

You found the black part of the cord melted. Sounds like something got a little to warm. Check the power control brd. and power logic brd. for any signs of damage.
good advise from others. I would look at mother bd. and possible func. bd. since commands go to both modules from this. one guy was right with deair. motor noise..seen alot of weird module problems due to this. as a side note your 24 a/b/c/ runs through the little converter bd( used in conjuc.w/ b.psi module/ front lft side on m.b by pwr log. bd.) I've had similar problems caused by that bd. If u don't get it soon..rent a steam roller and see if you can jump it.
ok thanks for the advice here is what i have done today. first tried to replace fuction bd but got "cond offset failure"???? so put the other fuction bd. back in. swapped out the converter bd nothing. pwr lodgic and pwr control look good but as i was scanning the mother bd i did notice that there is some corrosion on the back side of the hep. pins. I dont know if this would cause a problem i have no hep pumps. the traffic and steam roller are sounding like a slight reality right now?!?>!?!?!?!
