My clinic is getting Invacare Platinum XL concentrators. I read PM is once a year, but was wondering how everyone else takes care of theres. What measuring tool do i need to make sure i get 95.6% to 87%. Is this something i have to monitor and how often? Thanks for your help.

We have oxygen concentrators here. I check for oxygen purity every 3 months. We use a device from a company called O2 Technologies, Inc. The procedure is actually very simple. You hook up the device to the concentrator and let it run for about 10 minutes. You will then get the % of oxgen purity that thee concentrator is producing.
