This cracks me up. I noticed what looked like someone pushing Better Water products too....and now Tech and Brutus have confirmed my suspicions..I feel better already.
DL, if you have real experience and knowledge and want to share, great. but some people have real concerns and questions and are looking for real answers. better water is an ok company, but not the answer for everything.

Every portable RO manufacturer's machine has problem. Better Water is one of the worst.
1. Carbon cartridge is great, no mess, but it clogged up in one or two month. It is not chlorine break through. It is just no water can goes through.
2. Low Pressure Alarm. Not every room has 20 psi running water pressure. Especially you are on the top floor. Low pressure, RO shut off. You know what the clinic nurse does? they turn on the disinfection switch, no more RO shut off.
3. It is too big, it just like a tank in the battle field. Some ICU is tight, it is a lot of other emergency equipments around, you just could not fit in.
4. Tech support. Not too good. No 1-800 number. I have to use my personal phone to call them, while I am on the field.
5. Manual. Home made manual, almost nothing inside. I don't know about now, my manual is 3 years ago.
