At our unit many patients have plummeting CO2 levels. Its been suggested that changing to Naturlyte 9000 bathe could result in a mix of 40 for BiCarb bath. If done, what adjustments would have to be made to the machine and acid mix, other?

That is what we were using. We are now using Rockwell solutions that yeld a 39 co2. The only thing that we had to change was the formula in the service mode. The add/enter concentrates screen. Switched from fresenius to drake and recailbrated the conductivity cells. To my knowledge this is all that was done to the machines. I was on vacation at the time as was not here when the switch was made. I will do some checking and get back with you.
