What do you guys do with the old carbon or resin when you rebed your tanks?
Can they be dispose as regular trash?

Just dump it in the trash.

You may want to consider how much you are dumping. I just change all media, Multi-media tank, 2 carbon tanks, and the softener. We rolled the city dumpster up to the back door and it was almost full when we were done. We could not move it. I had to have the city come and move it. Just a heads up, you may want to talk with your local trash service to see how they prefer you do it.
