I have a H machine that yesterday it was pulled from the floor for a flow error. I started it up in the backroon yesterday and could not duplicat the problem. Today when i came in I went to turn the machine on and the screen would not come up complitly there were lines just lines across the whole screen. could the flow error and this problem be linked together through a board?? Thanks

Deair motor and sometimes flow motor problems have been known to cause disturbances on the plasma screens. Usually this manifests itself as a phantom digit that starts to develop as a third digit in the mid-screen vertical seperator line right beside the TMP read out, so that instead of a 40 TMP the machine reads 400 TMP or instead of 100 TMP it reads 1000. But if you look at that last digit, it is in the wrong place, and is actually where the vertical line used to be. If you turn the machine off and power it back up this usually disappears and then later on starts to develop over again. So maybe try unplugging your motors first and see if the plasma screen clears up, if it doesn't try a whole face plate assembly from another machine and see if that takes care of it. If the face plate assy. does it then try replacing just the plasma display. And remember that there are an old and new version of the plasma screens, and the display boards. The power supply for the screen may be built into it, or it may be on the display board depending on machine age and which versions you have.

Check your motors first and see if they are moving. A seized motor may have caused an actuator board problem and the bad actuator board may be the source of the plasma screen problem. If you swap in another actuator board and you still have a motor problem then you may burn up that actuator board also.
