Please help. I've got several machines that are continually being pulled for TMP problems. The techs say that during recirc. they alarm constantly & cannot be reset OR once the patient gets hooked up they start having TMP alarms. Naturally, I can hook the machines up in my work area & run them for hours without one single alarm.

TMP the scurge of fresenius dialysis machines! There are so many things that can cause a TMP error I am not really sure where to begin. It can be simple like a hansen not being pushed on hard enough to a problem with a stick. I guess I would suggest checking your Venous Arterial and Dialysate proceedures in the preventive maintenance manual. If any of these are off it will give you a starting point since you seem to be having multiple problems.

Just test and disinfect machine and return to service. The problem is the access.

Do you have diasafe filters on these machines?

It can be several things. It can be wet transdusers, clogged dialyzer or like s.aug said there access. Or they might be running a puff and the are plugged in to central acid or bicarb.

did that problem occur with many dialyzers or with one dialyzer?
i meet this problem before and by inspection we found that Ultrafiltration rate of Dialyzer is extremely Low and lose it`s ability to remove desired water.
please check this point.
