Drain boards, I'm pretty sure only exist with Fresenius, are in place of the bucket on the machine. Instead of recirculating into the bucket waste goes down a funnel with tubing has a y connector with the drain line. I've never saw anything like until, after RCG takeover by Fresenius, had to start covering a Fresenius clinic. It gets really bad if the drain backs up. Comes right back up through the funnel onto the floor. Neat stuff.

The best answer I found on there was the wands arent all the way pushed in. That has happend alot in our clinic. In order for the rinse cycle to take place, the connectors must be pushed in all the way. The magnetic sensors in the connectors still read that it's in even if its not; just have to be close.
They have not mentioned for a long time, may be a fluke. I have seen the wands not go all the way in but usually from oring getting stuck in the bicarb port.
