The "H"'s last day is January 31,2010. I need to replace 16 H machines. I keep hearing things about the K's replacement. I'm reluctant to buy 16 new K machines if there is something new just around teh corner. Has anyone heard anything about this? I know there are a bunch of rumors and nothing specific but I'd appreciate it if anyone knows anything. Thanks.

chances are that sales reps will claim to know nothing of any new platform, etc., until all K's are sold, then poof! a new model.

personally, I dig the K, and hope it stays for years.

Fresenius has released their new platform the 5008 in Europe, they will not divulge its' introduction date to north america though....

Perhaps you should ask Baxter. They will own the K soon with the patent lawsuit.

Perhaps Baxter will discontinue the Fresenius line just like they did with their own line....

Thanks for the links K boy. I also have 51 Baxter 1550's to replace. We are going with the B. Braun Dialog+. If Baxter does take over Fresenius (doubtful) I hope the Baxter Renal group don't take over. The Meridian? Nightmare.
