Does anyone know what would cause an A.24 blood pump code on a K machine? It happened at the end of my shift today. I could not stay waiting for Fresenius to call back.

Thanks.

Did you find out what was the problem? I got the same problem and the operators manual says
on that alarm "Optical Tachometer not in range".
(page128).
I ran machine with the lines being set up for 5 hrs- did not get it, but with the patient on it does after 2-3 hrs. Will call Fresenius, but what you found anyway?
Thank you

I have had this problem before and the only thing that resolved it was to replace the motor tachometer assy.

Most likely motor assembly or 955

It was the motor/tach assembly. The Fresenius tech said it was the 955 board or the motor. I had to run the machine for about four hours in the tech lab before the blood pump acted up again.

My employer has installed something called "Smart Filter" on all the networked PC's. It blocks me from viewing the Renal Web discussion boards at work.

Thank you guys! I am following the same steps as "nonameuno", but ordered 955 first as Fresenius advised due to the age of machine(1 yr) and 3000hrs only. They think it woud rather be a board...Will see.
