Hello all,

I have an H machine that has an intermit flow error. The machine comes up to 13.5 conductivity with a TMP alarm. When I try to clear the TMP alarm condictivity goes down to around 12 then comes back up. The TMP alarm however does not go away. It is just an endless loop of cond going down and then back up with the TMP not clearing. I have an intermit "1" FLEERR on debug screen 5. Water is good with a steady "0". Loading press is 18, d-air is -24, inlet water pressure is 20. I followed the troubleshooting guide that lead me to valve 38. To make a long story somewhat short.....when i bring the machine up to the "select program" screen, I have water flowing out of the drain. I replaced valve 38 like the guide said, after pinching off the tubing to valve 36 (pg 17 19.0.1 of troubleshooting guide.) Replaced valve 30, still running water out the drain. Actuator board is good. I am hoping someone had this problem with water running out of the drain at the select program screen. All input is appreciated.

Hey Wow, did you check valve 43 and the probes at the top of the chamber? The TMP sounds as if it is constant and you are not able to reset, check valve 43, touch the two probes together, and see if your intermittent flow error goes away, if so then, could be air separation chamber open to drain. Is there any valve errors in any of the modes, Cleaning/Dialysis? Any thing else obvious to the eye?

I have four words for you my friend: balancing chamber membrane tear. You're describing a classic example.
If you check my previous posts, you should find one where I explain how to check the fresh and spent sides of the membrane. It's fairly easy. Good luck to you.
