I was wondering if anyone has any tips on cleaning and removing discoloration on the arterial, heparin and level detector housings. I have some old 2008H machines that I was looking to revitalize. Some have been discolored by the sun while other by smoke. I appreciate any and all feedback from the field. Thanks

Hi sorry about the confusion. Yes, some machines have come from home patients who smoked and are now discolored. You see the same result over time with the dialysate lines. I wasn't looking to replace the front plate just cleaning off the residue and eliminating the discoloration. I do not know if anyone has tried painting or cleaning them with specific products in order to make them look more presentable in your units. Thanks.

There are some jokes in the following thread, but we were able to paint the K machine modules using primer and lacquer from Sherwin Williams.
