Looking to go K school in Chicago. Can anyone tell me how close it is to a airport, and what airport. What time do you get out the last day? Lodging any good? Anything to help me would be appreciated.

Hey Roger. I drove there and, we had school in waukegan so it just depends where in chicago it is. O'hare is abslutely insane!! Midway is much better. We got out around 3:00 on our last day.

I will be flying in from New Jersey. Don't know what airport is closest so I can get the hell out when it is over. I will be going to Waukegan.

Where do they put you up and is there anything to do?

I was there about a 6 weeks ago. Flew into O'Hare as it is closest to Waukegan. Call Fresenius and they have a travel department. If you have new K's they will pick up some of the transportation and hotel. There is about 5 eating places within walking distance of the hotel.

It's about a 25 min. drive from O'Hare. Fresenius provides a shuttle every day, to & from the hotel. I got out the last day around 1:00. They'll also provide a shuttle one or two night's to take you to a nicer restaurant and the Gurnee Mills Outlet mall. Not much of a shopper, but at least it was something to do one night.
