I have a k machine that when i bring it up in cond.and just before it goes into test the temp spikes up the drops again very fast,I think its a board problem but not sure which one and if not has anyone else had this problem

Start by checking your triac on the power supply and the heater rod.
If they are good calibrate all temperature procedures. Then check your thermistors. After that check your sensor board.
